Our Integration of OHSAS

18001 Management Systems

Our goal is to minimise significant risks at all Weba sites as determined by the Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System. We conduct periodic management reviews in order to prevent incidents and to minimise our environmental impact through a totally integrated HSE management approach.

At Weba Chute Systems & Solutions, we have aligned ourselves with the best practice principles of the OHSAS 18001 Management Systems. This will ensure that we are meeting where possible and exceeding all applicable legislation, codes of practice, standards, and customer-related policies and standards as far as is reasonably practicable.

  • Providing a working environment that is conducive to health and safety
  • Making occupational health and safety the primary responsibility of line management, from the managers through to the first line supervisors
  • Conducting regular safety audits and inspections on all sites
  • Conducting risk assessments and implementing processes and procedures to deal with the identified risks in the workplace as well as occupational health risks
  • Adopting a systematic approach to the implementation of the health, safety, and environmental management system
  • Ensuring that employees at all levels receive appropriate training and have the ability to carry out their duties and responsibilities
  • Communicating openly on health and safety issues with employees, visitors, contractors, and stakeholders
