Regional Manager - Northern Cape
A vacancy exists in the Client Services Department for a Regional Manager in the Northern Cape.
Position Key Tasks and Duties
- Drive strategic development in the region.
- Develop and retain clientele.
- Achieve revenue goals.
- Manage all WEBA maintenance / installations / modifications in the region.
- Manage the sales team and admin staff in the Northern Cape.
Requirements (Skills and Experience)
- Sales experience in the mining industry is a prerequisite.
- Management experience would be advantageous.
- Dry plant experience of minimum 5-10 years. Preferably, chutes and other bulk handling equipment such as conveyors, etc.
- Relationships with the mines in the Northern Cape area is essential.
- Relevant Trade Test Certificate – Fitter / Boilermaker.
- Minimum Grade 12 or N3. A relevant degree or diploma in Engineering or Mining activities would be advantageous.
- Computer Literate.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s licence.
- Must be in good health to comply with client and company requirements.
- Self-discipline, motivated, outgoing.

Technical Advisor
A vacancy exists in the Client Services Department for a Technical Advisor. Position key tasks and duties include Sales, Projects, Inspections, After-Sales, servicing of existing clients and acquisition of new clients.
Requirements (Skills and Experience)
- Sales experience in the mining industry is a prerequisite.
- Dry plant experience of minimum 5-10 years. Preferably, chutes and other bulk handling equipment such as conveyors, etc.
- Relationships with the mines in the areas mentioned above is essential.

Field Advisor - Rustenburg

Field Advisor - Rustenburg
A vacancy exists in the Client Services Department for a Field Advisor in the Rustenburg area.
Position Key Tasks and Duties
- Assistance with new and or sections of chute installations/replacements.
- Weekly planning on actions to be done, inspections, technical assistance, etc.
- Ensure that all planned inspections are carried out and reported.
- Ensure that the relevant foreman receive inspection report and discuss deviations.
- Ensure if parts are ordered that everything is delivered to mine before installation.
- Deliver quotes in person to the foreman where possible.
- Follow up on quotations.
- Do some marketing while on site by ensuring that the foreman sees the need of ordering using the inspection report as a backup.
- Assist with any queries that the foreman may have or escalate it to his superior.
- Assist with any queries from H/O regarding invoices, deliveries, measurements etc.
- Assist mine personnel with LOL on installation of lips.
- Ensure that an inspection report is completed in detail and handed to the Site Administrator on weekly basis.
- Complete maintenance job sheets in detail on a weekly basis.
- Do daily pre-start on vehicle and make sure that it is clean.
- Submit vehicle checklist on weekly basis.
- Update robot report on weekly basis.
Experience Required
- Must have a minimum of 3 years plant experience in maintenance.
- Chute experience will be an added advantage.
Education & Qualification Requirements
- Grade 12.
- Tertiary qualification will be a benefit.
- A qualified artisan, either fitter, boilermaker or draughtsman will be an advantage.

Weba Chutes is seeking an experienced Drawing Office Checker to join our team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Drawing Office Manager and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of technical drawings.
Location: Wadeville, Germiston, South Africa
Key Responsibilities
-
Check and approve various types of drawings, including:
- Approval drawings
- Manufacturing drawings
- Parts list drawings
- Installation drawings
- Lip order lists
- Maintain records of drawing efficiencies
- Assist with training and development within the Drawing Office
Minimum Requirements
- Senior Certificate
- National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) advantageous
- Minimum 10 years’ draughting experience
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Drawing Office Checker within mining, manufacturing, or fabrication environments
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software
- Strong communication skills
- Effective time management
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to work overtime at short notice
- Ability to train and coach drawing office staff
